Millennium Steel Golf Tournament Supports First Tee – Greater San Antonio

Millennium Steel hosted its annual golf tournament on February 5 at Canyon Springs Golf Club, selecting First Tee – Greater San Antonio as the beneficiary of this year’s event. The tournament began with a 9 a.m. shotgun start and brought together golfers, sponsors, and community supporters for a fun and meaningful day on the course. Thanks to the generosity of participants and partners, the event raised more than $20,000 to support First Tee programming for local youth.

Golfers were welcomed with a memorable start to the day, warming up their swings while being serenaded by a lively mariachi band. The fun continued throughout the round, including a stop at the 10th tee where Comedian and Life Coach Glenn Revell added an extra challenge by playfully heckling golfers through a megaphone as they teed off. The entertainment created a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere while helping highlight the purpose behind the event.

Funds raised from the tournament will help provide young people in the San Antonio community with access to affordable golf experiences that teach important life skills such as perseverance, integrity, and leadership. These programs help participants grow both on and off the course while building confidence and character.

First Tee – Greater San Antonio is especially grateful to KJ Jackson, President and CEO of Millennium Steel, for his generous support and commitment to the organization’s mission. Millennium Steel’s leadership and partnership were instrumental in bringing the event together and making a direct impact on youth across the community.

We are thankful to everyone who participated, sponsored, and supported this year’s tournament. Their involvement helps ensure that more young people have the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed through the game of golf.
