PURE Insurance Championship

This prestigious event is designed exclusively for First Tee participants who are elite junior golfers, bringing together the top young talent nationally to compete at the highest level.

The PURE Insurance Championship provides First Tee participants with a national stage to showcase the skills and values they’ve developed at their chapter. Throughout the week, teens network with peers, PGA TOUR Champions players, and business leaders competing in the amateur field — gaining exposure to the opportunities golf can provide both on and off the course.

Hosted at the iconic Pebble Beach Golf Links and Spyglass Hill Golf Course, this unforgettable experience pairs each teen with a PGA TOUR Champions professional for 36 holes of best-ball competition as they compete for the pro-junior title.

First Tee and title sponsor PURE Insurance are committed to ensuring teens from underserved communities have access to this opportunity. Golf resume, personal growth through First Tee, and socioeconomic need are all considered in determining the field.

Eligibility Requirements

Participants must:

  • Be 14–18 years old (must have reached their 14th birthday by the first day of the event and not have reached their 19th birthday by the event’s conclusion)
  • Be an eighth grader, high school freshman, sophomore, or junior as of the spring semester 2026
  • Be an active First Tee participant for at least two years
  • Demonstrate competitive golf ability
